Last Friday afternoon, we learned that the House Labor & Commerce Committee (Sub-committee #3) chaired by Democrat Richard "Rip" Sullivan of Arlington (who was the Chief Patron of the terrible VCEA legislation), had placed HB 2265 - our Repeal VCEA Bill championed by Delegate Nick Freitas (see his video here) on the agenda for this Monday morning.
Even with the short notice, we have submitted our comments in support of HB 2265 which you can find via the link to the right.
We know the Democrats control Richmond and they want to quickly reject our effort for a more balanced approach to protecting the environment and ensuring affordable electricity rates for seniors and working families. Their rejection of HB 2265 will not stop us from making Democrats defend this November their approval of clear-cutting Virginia's precious forests and covering our farmland with toxic solar panels (all made in China!).
Join us by signing the petition, alerting and sharing this information with your friends and neighbors and financially supporting our efforts to reduce the environmental impact and electricity taxes imposed by VCEA. Thank you!
